Cisco 2800 Series
The Cisco 2800 Series integrated services routers brings secure data, voice, video and application optimazation services to branch offices in the network. Some of the features that are common accross all of the models in the 2800 series are: built in encryption for VPN, designed to support IP Telephony, and all models can are designed to connect to the public phone network. And of course a wide variety of WAN and LAN interfaces to support any kind of activity you need.
The Cisco 2811 has a greater expandability than the 2801. And one model up comes the Cisco 2821 which looks kind of different with twice the height of the 2811 (and the 2801). This extra height accomodates wider network modules such as a 24 port ethernet switch, and a dedicated slot for an extended voice module. It also has two gigabit ethernet ports (where the Cisco 2801 and 2811 have one fast ethernet port). The Cisco 2851 is similar to the 2811 but has higher capacity and adds more seats.
